For the first and last days of a retreat, and for the longer intercity legs, a private transfer is the calmest way to travel — door-to-door, in your own time.
Especially at the start and end of a journey.
The first hours after a long flight are not the time to navigate an unfamiliar public-transport system. The same is true at the end of a retreat, when the mind is quiet and the body is ready to rest. A private transfer turns both into a gentle, door-to-door experience.
Our partner drivers are English-speaking where possible, vetted for safety and discretion, and equipped to handle luggage, late arrivals, and unexpected delays. They meet you at the gate, the platform, or the hotel lobby — and they wait as long as you need.
What to expect, and how we arrange it.
Driver meets you at the arrivals hall with a name sign, helps with luggage, and drops you at the hotel or retreat centre. Flight tracking is included — delays are absorbed automatically.
For legs of 3–6 hours, a private car with a professional driver is often the most restful option. Stops are yours to choose; the day belongs to you.
For shorter hops, the DiDi app in English works almost everywhere. It accepts international cards and is generally safer and cheaper than a street taxi.
All HealtimesRetreat bookings include private airport transfer on arrival and departure. Additional legs (hotels, day trips, restaurants) can be added in advance.
A few things to keep in mind.
Always share your flight number, train number, or pickup address with us in advance — even a 15-minute delay is fine. The driver tracks the flight; the only thing they need is your name and a working phone number on arrival.
For longer intercity transfers, expect 3–6 hours on the road with one or two rest stops. Bring a book, a thermos of tea, and the willingness to watch the landscape change. Many guests say it is one of the most memorable parts of the trip.
Every retreat includes arrival and departure transfer. We will handle the rest on request.
